Drawing Letters with Interactive Physics

The students drew a V using charges, but the V collapsed.

First the V sagged.

Then the V flattened out

and began to fly like a gull. It was beautiful, but not what they intended!

 

Just as the bell rang, they decided to clip the sides (disulphide bonds?) of the V protein with weaker forces in order to add stability.

 

Students had built charged letters earlier.

Later on the students built shapes using charges.
